Materials, Accessories and Components

Molco sources steels and specialty materials, through internationally approved suppliers like Uddeholm , Bohler, Pechiney or Thyssen. Molds can be designed to follow metric or US standards, with its components to follow accordingly. For regular accessories and components, suppliers like DME, Hasco, Progressive, CUMSA, Pedrotti or Meusburger are normally used. Hot runner systems, by MoldMasters, Incoe, Osco, Yudo, Synventive or Husky are available in Portugal. Most of the known hydraulic systems suppliers, like Merkle,, Parker, Kor-Lok, HPS or Vega are available. Regarding thermoplastic resins for tests, many of the major suppliers have representatives or sales offices in Portugal, with common resins and engineering materials available for testing. Still, if a customer prefers to use their own compounds, or custom colors, Molco can assist with its shipment and any documentation required.
